Privacy notice · November 2026
Underseal.co.uk provides its mobile underbody protection service from Abergele. We use the information you provide to review your requested appointment, assess your vehicle and working location, email you an acknowledgement, and confirm or discuss a booking. Your enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Who handles your information
Underseal.co.uk operates the Underseal.co.uk mobile undersealing enquiry service, based in Abergele, North Wales.
Contact us about your personal information at info@underseal.co.uk.
What we collect
When you request a booking, we collect your name, email address, service address and postcode, your vehicle make/model/year and category, the type of service, preferred date and arrival time, and information about the working area. We also store the fixed package price and booking status. Your phone number and extra notes are optional. You may choose to send photographs by email. Please avoid including faces or unrelated personal details.
Why we use it
We use your details to review appointment requests, assess the vehicle and service address, send request acknowledgements, confirm appointment dates by email, complete the service and maintain reasonable service and guarantee records. We rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and on the contract for agreed services. Reasonable administration, security and prevention of abuse support our legitimate interests in operating the business.
Sending an enquiry or booking request does not subscribe you to marketing. If you reach us from an advert, we may record campaign information from the website link (such as UTM campaign, source or advert label) with your private booking to understand which campaigns generate enquiries. These are not an opt-in to further marketing. Photographs supplied for a booking are not permission to use them in advertising; we would ask separately.
Who can access it
We keep booking requests and enquiries as private WordPress records restricted to authorised administrators and send booking notifications to our business email. Booking acknowledgements and confirmations are also sent to the email address you provide. Access is limited to authorised people managing the business. Our website hosting, email and technical service providers may process information to provide their services. We do not sell enquiry information.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep booking and enquiry information while assessing the appointment, carrying out agreed work and dealing with aftercare, guarantees and follow-up. We review enquiries that do not lead to a booking and delete information when it is no longer needed for those purposes. Information needed for a booking, accounting or a genuine dispute may need to be kept longer, according to the applicable purpose and requirements. We delete photographs when they are no longer needed for the purpose for which you supplied them. You can ask us about the information we still hold.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct your personal information. Depending on the circumstances, you can request deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing. Contact the email above so we can review your request. You may raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Optional Google Analytics and Meta advertising tracking
We use optional Google Analytics (Google) and the Meta Pixel (Meta, which operates Facebook and Instagram) only with your choice. We offer three choices: Essential only, Analytics only, or Allow analytics & ads. Google Analytics can help us understand website visits and successful booking requests; the Meta Pixel measures advertising visits and successful saved booking requests. Neither is needed to request a booking. We do not load either provider's tracking script before the relevant consent is given, and you may change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in our footer. We store your choice in your browser for up to 180 days; changing your choice affects future tracking, and withdrawal attempts to remove known first-party tracking cookies. With permission, Google and/or Meta may process device, browsing and event information, including outside the UK, according to their terms and policies. We do not intentionally include names, email addresses, telephone numbers or service addresses in the booking event sent to either provider, and advanced form-data matching is not enabled by our site code. We do not send a Purchase event for an unconfirmed booking. You can read the Meta privacy policy and Google privacy policy. Our fonts are hosted with the site. WordPress and the hosting service may use essential technologies for security and account access. A short-lived identifier derived from a connection address is used to limit repeated form submissions.
