A full preparation-and-protection service at your property, with safety checks, protection of your driveway, careful masking, Silverhook application and photographs from start to finish.
Protect the driveway
We lay tarpaulin, position suitable marine ply where needed to protect the surface and control drips or debris, and keep the area tidy.
Lift & open up access
We use suitable jacks, chocks and correctly rated axle stands on firm, level ground. Wheels and practical removable undertrays/arch trim come off for access.
Brush & prepare
We remove dirt, loose old seal and flaky surface deposits from suitable accessible areas using drills and wire brushes. Structural rust is not concealed.
Mask & shield
We protect sensitive components, surrounding paint and the driveway with suitable masking and sheeting to control aerosol overspray. We assess nearby drains, people and property.
Apply Silverhook
We apply Silverhook professional underseal spray to suitable prepared underbody areas, following the product instructions and safe spray controls.
Photos throughout
We record the condition, the clean/prepared areas, the application stages and the final accessible areas to show what has been done.
Refit & handover
We refit removable trim and wheels safely, check the work, provide the photo record and explain drying time, aftercare, our guarantee and maintenance options.

Structural repairs or welding are not included; if unsafe corrosion prevents treatment, we stop and agree the return after repair. We don't take a deposit or charge for additional preparation without explaining any ineligible condition first.

We recommend an annual inspection, with a lower-priced top-up where suitable surfaces need fresh protection. Returning Underseal customers can book a lower-priced maintenance visit for an underside check, local cleaning and recoating suitable areas as needed.
A top-up is a shorter maintenance visit, not a second full strip-down. If structural corrosion or extensive failed coatings are found, repairs or a fresh full treatment may be needed.

We stand behind the preparation and application we carry out. If an area agreed for treatment was missed, or our application was defective, tell us within 12 months and we'll inspect it and put the workmanship issue right without a labour charge.

If we find serious corrosion
WE WON'T
COVER IT UP.
We'll explain any significant or structural rust discovered during preparation. Where welding is needed, the vehicle must go to a reputable repairer first. We then arrange a return to complete the agreed undersealing once the repairs are sound and the vehicle is suitable.
No deposit is taken. Welding is paid separately to your chosen repairer. The agreed Underseal treatment price stays fixed for the eligible standard service; any unsafe or unrepairable vehicle is not treated.

Can you work on my driveway?
Potentially, if it is private, hard and level, with suitable access and enough clear space. We also assess drainage, weather, nearby property and vehicle access. A public road, soft ground or an unsuitable slope is not a working site.
Does the vehicle need to be clean?
Yes. We need to assess a reasonably clean underside. Light preparation is included for eligible vehicles. If the underside is heavily caked in mud or soaking wet, it may need washing and adequate drying before we can safely proceed. We'll explain this before treatment and won't add surprise charges.
Will underseal repair rust?
No. This is preventative protection for suitable vehicles. Heavy corrosion, loose failing coatings or structural damage may need specialist preparation, inspection or repairs first. We will explain if the vehicle is unsuitable for our standard mobile service.
What is included in the treatment?
The standard fixed-price service includes tarpaulin and marine ply protection, safe wheel and accessible undertrim removal, wire-brush preparation, masking, Silverhook Under Seal Spray (SGUS1) application, refitting and photographs. Welding, structural repairs and inaccessible cavities are not included.
How soon can I drive afterwards?
Plan to leave the vehicle parked after treatment. Silverhook SGUS1 has a stated drying time of approximately 5–7 hours. Actual drying can take longer; keep the vehicle parked until the coating is sufficiently dry and follow our handover advice.
How long does it last?
Plan for regular inspections and ongoing maintenance. We recommend an annual review, with earlier checks after heavy use or exposure. Timing depends on use, conditions and the coating’s condition; this is not a permanent rustproofing guarantee.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable?
We rearrange treatment when conditions would compromise safe working or the application. Suitability, the site and the weather are confirmed before a treatment date is agreed.
Do you cover the North West?
We consider selected North West routes from our Abergele base. Send your postcode and vehicle details. We confirm that your location can be covered at our fixed treatment price before accepting a booking.
