12 MONTHS OF WORKMANSHIP CONFIDENCE.
We take responsibility for the undersealing preparation and application work we actually complete. If we miss an agreed treatment area or the application is defective, we want to put that right.
What’s covered for 12 months?
For 12 months from the completion date, we guarantee our workmanship on the preparation and application areas recorded as included on your job sheet. If we missed an agreed accessible area or there is a defect caused by our application, contact us. We’ll assess it and, where confirmed, return and rectify our workmanship without an additional labour charge.
Covered
- Agreed accessible areas missed during application
- Defective preparation/application attributable to our work
- Re-application to correct a confirmed workmanship defect
- Return visit to remedy that issue in the covered operating area
Not a rust-free promise
- Pre-existing or structural corrosion and welding repairs
- Untreated, hidden or inaccessible metal areas
- New impact damage, abrasion or misuse after treatment
- Failure to maintain the coating or follow aftercare
How to make a claim
Email info@underseal.co.uk with your reference, treatment date, vehicle registration or description, and clear photos if safe to take. We may need to inspect the vehicle and review the treatment record. A confirmed workmanship issue will be remedied at no labour charge within a reasonable time.
Silverhook SGUS1 is a bitumen-based protective coating. We recommend regular inspections, particularly after winter road exposure, and offer optional annual top-ups where needed. The 12-month guarantee covers our workmanship; it does not guarantee corrosion will never develop, or replace manufacturer instructions, periodic checks or proper repairs.
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill.
