What happens on your driveway?
- Check the working area: we need suitable access and private, firm, level ground, safe lifting points, suitable weather and ventilation.
- Protect the driveway: tarpaulin and appropriate marine ply protect the working area.
- Access and prepare: safely jack and support the vehicle on correctly rated axle stands; remove wheels and accessible trim where practical; brush away loose debris and failed coatings from suitable areas.
- Mask and apply: protect sensitive parts and surrounding surfaces before applying Silverhook professional underseal to agreed prepared areas.
- Finish and document: refit components safely, photograph accessible treatment areas and provide drying and aftercare advice.
Serious or structural rust needs inspection and suitable repair rather than being hidden beneath a coating. We stop and explain the next step if it is found.
